Mixing color for a full head root application

This video will show you how to measure or estimate the amount of product (color & developer) that you will need for a full head application.

If you have gloves wear them to keep color off your hands.

Wear a button up shirt or a shirt with a wider neck that you don’t care about.

Put a towel or a couple paper towels underneath your color bowl to prevent splatter stains in your bathroom.

Let your color process for 35 minutes. Start the timer when you finish the final swipe of color.

Your virtual stylist

Things have changed so much in just two weeks. In order to protect myself and my family I stopped serving clients at the end of the day on March 13th. Within days I realized that I would need to get all of my supplies and furniture out of the salon. The Governor had not yet declared all salons to be closed but I knew it would be soon and I didn’t know how long they would be closed for. I have been contacting clients to let them know that I would be forced to cancel their appointment and that I don’t really have a date to get back to booking them. My guess is when there is finally enough PPE to protect any worker who is forced to stand within less than 6 feet of another person. Or when testing becomes ubiquitous enough to allow everyone to prove they are a carrier of the virus. Anyhow I don’t know when I can get back to any of my dear clients! So I am posting a series of videos with some do it yourself instructions. I hope that you find them useful. When we are able to get back to work I will be certain to let you know where I will be. Take care and wash your hands.
